SEDALIA, Mo. (KMIZ) Multiple law enforcement agencies arrested two people Wednesday morning after investigating the theft of catalytic converters in the Sedalia area. The Sedalia police, Pettis County Sheriff’s Dept. detective and deputies from the Cooper County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a business in Sedalia allegedly purchasing catalytic converters to be recycled.

Pettis County Coroner Robert Smith identified the remains as 39-year-old Timothy Gibson, who was last seen on March 26, 2015, when he was taken to a hospital and then released. SEDALIA, Mo. (KMIZ) John Fizer, the father of Hannah Fizer, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against deputy Jordan Schutte Wednesday. The deputy killed the 25-year-old during a traffic stop in June.
