Sedalia man seriously injured in Pettis County crash

PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 23-year-old Sedalia man suffered serious injuries in a Thursday crash on Route M south of Goodwill Chapel, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Crash occurred as a 2003 Nissan Xterra – driven by Peyton Thompson -- was heading northbound and went off the right side of the road and down an embankment, according to the crash report. The vehicle  overturned several times and stopped while upside down.

Thompson was brought to Bothwell Hospital by ambulance, according to the report. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
