Jefferson City police arrest man accused of dumping paint on the walls and floor of the basement

Jefferson City police arrested Jacob Otto on Friday after officers responded to the 1500 block of East High Street for a possible burglary. According to the probable cause statement, Otto entered and remained inside the building, which was occupied by workers. Police said the victim observed Otto inside the basement. Maries County officers arrest man accused of being a chronic DWI offender

Maries County deputies arrested Jerry Cook after officers pulled Cook over on Saturday for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. According to the probable cause statement, Cook is considered a chronic offender after he was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter-vehicular intoxication for events occurring in April 1995.
