An icy spot in south Columbia caused a minor crash on Wednesday morning. A vehicle slid off of the road on Crabapple Lane and Highway KK at 8:30 a.m, according to troopers on scene. There were no injuries in the crash, but Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers said it was due to an icy spot.

Police are investigating after a gunshot victim was found in the parking lot of a convenience store in north Columbia.
