Crash stops eastbound I-70 traffic on Missouri River bridge

A Missouri Department of Transportation traffic camera showed vehicles at a standstill in the eastbound lanes at about 10 a.m. Emergency officials said two crashes occurred on the bridge.

(KMIZ) A Jefferson City man serving time for other crimes is now charged with attempted rape and violence to an employee of the Department of Corrections after an incident on July 1, 2020. Cooper County Public Health Center adding security after multiple threats

BOONVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ) Cooper County Public Health Center administrator Melanie Hutton says the organization has recently received multiple threats that require added security. Hutton says the center has an increased law enforcement presence with a full-time officer on duty. On Tuesday, the health center leadership approved an emergency purchase to upgrade the center’s security system.
