A Boonville man is charged with several crimes after several law enforcement agencies searched a home in the 500 block of Poertner Street in Boonville.

When law enforcement arrived they took John Baldwin and two others into custody. Baldwin was carrying a concealed pistol on him.

According to court documents, the Cooper County Sheriff's Department, members of the East Central Drug Task Force, Boonville police and Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers searched the home and found a pound of marijuana, 2 ounces of THC wax, 48 THC vape pens, a pistol, $1,375 in cash, 500 small plastic bags with a digital scale and marijuana paraphernalia. The vape pens have a reported value of $2,500.

Inside the residence, investigators say they found several bags of marijuana in the freezer, labeled by different strands. Investigators also allegedly found THC vape pens upstairs and downstairs.

Baldwin is charged with felony drug possession, unlawful use of a weapon and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance.

Baldwin's bond is set at $15,000.
