Boonville man charged after drug seizure Friday

BOONVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

On Thursday, multiple law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at a home on Poertner Street in Boonville leading to an arrest and seizure of drugs, weapons and cash.

According to a Facebook post by the Cooper County Sheriff's department, the investigation led to the seizure of large quantities of marijuana, THC wax and THC vape cartridges were seized along with US currency and a firearm.

John Baldwin was taken into custody Thrusday.

Baldwin is charged with delivery of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, unlawful use of a weapon-subsection 11-possess weapon and a felony controlled substance, and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance.

Baldwin's bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.
