Remains found in Cooper County confirmed as missing Boonville man

BOONVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

The remains found west of Boonville on April 15 have been confirmed as a missing Boonville man.

The Boone County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the remains as 42-year-old Andrew Sercu.

Sercu was reported missing to the Boonville police on Sept. 8, 2020.

Officials report no cause of death has been determined at the time of the release.
