(KMIZ) A Jefferson City man serving time for other crimes is now charged with attempted rape and violence to an employee of the Department of Corrections after an incident on July 1, 2020. According to court documents, William Riggs went upstairs at the Boonville Correction Center and allegedly attacked a female probation officer.
