Today: Showers and storms begin to develop just south of I-70 this afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front. These scattered showers and storms will begin to become more widespread with chances of brief downpours and lightning possible. Most areas north of I-70 should remain dry, but southern counties will see increased chances for rainfall.
