Mokane man charged after chase, allegedly hit Sheriff’s deputy vehicle while driving wrong way on highway

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) A Mokane man has been charged after the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office says he led multiple law enforcement agencies on a chase Sunday afternoon. Jonathan Irwin, 28, is charged with first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, fourth-degree assault, first-degree property damage, second-degree property damage and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ashland celebrates Pride after new law restricting transgender treatments signed

ASHLAND, Mo. (KMIZ) The second annual Ashland Pride Festival took place on Sunday, at a time when Missouri is enacting laws restricting access to gender-transition treatments.
