COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) The Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F is assigning more troopers to patrol state highways this weekend after Thanksgiving. Corporal Kyle A. Green, a spokesperson for Troop F, said MSHP is unsure if there will be an increase in traffic this weekend, but are preparing as people return home from the holiday.

ROCHEPORT, Mo. (KMIZ) Traffic came to a standstill at the Missouri River bridge near Rocheport Sunday. According to Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F, one car crashed on the bridge causing traffic to stop. Then a tractor trailer hit another tractor trailer. At least one person was injured during the crashes.
