New area code to be introduced to Mid-Missouri
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) Mid-Missouri will soon be introduced to a new area code, according to a Monday press release from the Missouri Public Service Commission. COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) A number of electricity customers in Mid-Missouri reported power outages after storms rolled through the area Wednesday evening. Callaway Electric online records showed 1,440 customers without power at its peak. The areas hit the hardest for Callaway Electric includes Carrington with 783 customers without power, Tebbetts with 283 and Millersburg with 232.
