In a news release, the BBB says the scammer will call you and if you answer a recorded message will play. The message claims there is a problem with Amazon account.

According to 31 applications retrieved from the city through a sunshine request, $1,476,710 is being requested to help the city handle the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Cole County was given just about $9 million dollars to distribute to cities, communities, businesses and organizations impacted by the crisis.
