Two injured after crash in Jefferson City last night
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Jefferson City Police Department say two are injured after a crash allegedly involving alcohol and narcotics early Sunday morning.
According to police, around 12:40 Sunday morning, officers responded o a crash at the 1100 block of Madison Street.
Officers say the investigation revealed a car driven by Clint Ferguson, 29, was heading southbound in the area and ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a parked car.
Furguson and his passenger Jarissa Dickson, 26, were transported to a hospital in Columbia treatment for their injuries. Ferguson received serious injures, while Dickson received moderate injuries. Police say alcohol and narcotic use contributed to the crash. Â
Both vehicles were towed due to damage. The roadway was closed for about one hour while the scene was investigated by police.
Both cars were totaled after the crash.
