Kansas City man killed in Benton County motorcycle crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 51-year-old man from Kansas City was killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon on Route C in Benton County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The report says the crash occurred as the man failed to negotiate a right turn while heading eastbound on his 2008 Harley Davidson. The bike went off the left side of the road, overturned and ejected the driver, the report says.

The report says the man was not wearing a helmet. His body was brought to Reser Funeral Home.

The Harley was totaled.

MSHP reports do not name the victims in crashes.
