Tracking dry and warm weather into the weekend

TODAY: Thursday is another bright day, with more sunshine than on Wednesday. This will help inch us a few degrees closer to 80 this afternoon, yet most are forecast to land in the upper 70s today.

TONIGHT: Skies remain mostly clear through the day and into the overnight hours. Temperatures fall into the low 50s and upper 40s by sunrise.

EXTENDED: Friday is likely very similar to Thursday, with sunshine and highs in the upper 70s forecast. We'll be tracking a slight increase in clouds over the weekend, but dry weather is forecast alongside highs in the upper 70s. Upper-level high pressure is responsible for keeping the forecast pleasant and straightforward through the weekend; however, that starts to break down next week. This will open us up to slim rain chances, but moisture availability is questionable, leaving us with low rain chances on Tuesday amidst an otherwise benign increase in clouds Monday through Wednesday. The forecast is trending wetter by Halloween weekend, but will that mean you need to rainproof your costume? Watch the forecast for updates!
