This Afternoon: A storm complex tracking through western Missouri is heading south of our area, and any redevelopment of storms looks unlikely heading into this evening. Today: Scattered showers and storms begin in western portions of Mid-Missouri after 10 PM lasting until the late afternoon hours. An isolated strong to severe storm remains possible. The overall risk of widespread severe storms remains very low. Strong winds and brief downpours remain the primary impacts. The afternoon highs climb into the lower 90s.

Dewpoints are still tropical in some locations, but we expect rapid improvement behind the front, and expect dewpoints in the 50s by sunrise tomorrow.
