Group urges reinstatement of suspended Missouri professor

A national association is calling for the reinstatement of a suspended University of Missouri assistant professor who was involved in a run-in with two student journalists during campus protests. UM Curators to meet this week

Leaders with the University of Missouri are scheduled to meet again this week, on Thursday and Friday. On Tuesday, Curators issued more details about the meetings in Columbia. Among other things, they’re going to discuss student housing rates and retiree benefits. Curators will also get an update about the search for a new system president.
