EMS crews responded to the intersection of Sexton Road and Mikel Street around 7:45 p.m. Sunday for a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle.

Columbia Police Department dispatch records show more than a dozen peace disturbance calls on from Friday through early morning Sunday, days after increased patrols were announced and students return to campus.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) UPDATE 5:30 P.M.: The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 74,257 cases of COVID-19 Saturday, up from 72,964 on Friday. The department reported 6 new deaths Saturday. There have been 1,425 COVID-related deaths in the state. The 7 day positivity rate was at 11.4. At least 913 people were hospitalized.
