(KMIZ) The Missouri Department of Corrections is reporting convicted murderer 57-year-old William Salmon was pronounced dead at 3:40 Friday morning at the Jefferson City Correctional Center. Jefferson City School District reports 45 COVID-19 cases after one month of in-person learning

There have been individual students, staff and faculty that have either come down with the virus or quarantining because of exposure. As of the latest release on Thursday, 45 members of the district have gotten sick, while 56 have been identified as close contacts and asked to stay home.
