ATF seizes weapons from north Columbia residence

ATF executes federal weapons search warrant in north Columbia.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

ATF agents continue to execute a federal search warrant on the 300 block of E Winter street in north Columbia.

U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives senior investigator John Ham says the search began this morning.

Ham says the search warrant is part of an ongoing criminal investigation involving multiple violations of federal firearms laws.

Crews on scene could see several firearms being taken out of the residence Thursday afternoon.

Several Columbia police cruisers were on scene.
