Fire district official killed in Interstate 70 crash in Boone County
The district said in a news release that Bryant Gladney died at the scene after the crash involving a tractor-trailer near Route Z. Gladney was going to the scene of a crash when a westbound tractor-trailer hit Gladney’s firetruck at high speed before hitting a University Hospital ambulance and the vehicle involved in the original crash, according to the release.

Jefferson City crash closes Highway 54 ramps
The crash happened a little before 1:30 a.m. when a truck driven by Timothy Reiner, 36, of Tarkio, Missouri, went out of its lane on the on-ramp and crashed into a curb and street sign, the Jefferson City Police Department said in a news release. Six injured in separate Jefferson City crashes
Three people were hurt in a crash on the Highway 54/63 southbound Missouri River bridge just before noon when a Ford Fusion changed lanes and hit a Lincoln Towncar, sending the Lincoln into the concrete wall, according to a Jefferson City Police Department news release. Driver charged after motorcyclist killed in central Columbia crash

Man found with serious injuries near Mexico railroad crossing
Members of the Mexico Public Safety Department were sent at about 2 a.m. to the Morris Street rail crossing and found James Hicks, 40, of Mexico, along the tracks just east of the crossing with serious injuries, the department said in a news release.
