Miller County collector dies

TUSCUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) Miller County collector William (Bill) Harvey has died according to a Facebook post by the Miller County Clerk. The collector position is an elected position. Harvey’s job included collecting current and delinquent real and personal property taxes for the county and various political subdivisions within the county.

McLean death investigation uncovers notes focused on divorce, custody case

The notes come from the death investigation done by the Union County Sheriff’s Office in South Dakota. ABC 17 News acquired them through an open records request. McLean killed himself in South Dakota on Sept. 8 as law enforcement from South Dakota and Iowa surrounded him. He was inside a truck he’s suspected of stealing from Miller County.

Voters in Osage Beach Fire Protection District reject property tax increase
