COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported more than 2,300 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, pushing the state’s total passed 400,000. Missouri’s total COVID-19 case count is now reported to be 401,761. Records indicate there were also 19 new virus related deaths added Sunday bringing the state’s death toll to 5,562.

Health officials said total COVID-19 cases since the pandemic were up to 399,456 Saturday — 2,157 more since Friday’s dashboard update. The health department included three more virus-related deaths to the dashboard bringing the pandemic total up to 5,543 fatalities.
