John Conway, an inmate at the Jefferson City Correctional Center, was pronounced dead on Oct. 24 at 4:15 p.m. Conway was 66 years old and serving a 25 year sentenced for second degree murder and armed criminal action in St. Louis City. Conway started his sentence in 2005. Conway died of “apparent natural causes.”

UPDATE: Columbia police confirm two vehicles were involved in the crash. One person refused medical service and one went to the hospital. Police are unaware of the extent of the injuries. Public arrest records indicate authorities have arrested a man wanted in connection with a September shooting on Newton Drive in north Columbia. The records show Boone County deputies arrested Majikwon Morales Monday and show he remained in the Boone County jail Tuesday. One man has been arrested after trespassing on Parkade Elementary school property.
