Tracking warmth and rain chances for Christmas
TODAY: Sunday is bright and mild, with high temperatures in the mid-40s. Expect southerly winds between 5 and 15 mph.
TONIGHT: We will stay mostly clear for much of the night, but clouds increase Monday morning. Temperatures stay above freezing.
EXTENDED: A weak front moves into the region, which will increase clouds, but rain chances are low. There will be a chance for showers by midday, but chances are greatest southeast of the region, and many will stay dry. Better rain chances come Tuesday and Wednesday, with temperatures in the 40s and 50s, keeping snow out of the picture. We'll continue the warm trend, seeing highs in the 50s through the rest of the week and into the weekend. Rain chances continue through the period as well.
