Emergency crews working crash at Broadway & Fairview Road

UPDATE: Columbia police confirm two vehicles were involved in the crash. One person refused medical service and one went to the hospital. Police are unaware of the extent of the injuries.

Emergency crews are at the scene of a vehicle crash at the intersection of West Broadway and Fairview Road in Columbia on Monday night.

The crash involved two vehicles, around 6:56 p.m. with one car pushed over on its side.

Columbia police said at least one person was taken to a local hospital.

According to the 911 Fire & Rescue Dispatch website, at least eight units responded to the wreck.
