THIS EVENING: Winter impacts are over for Mid-MO but rain still continues into tonight. Rain spreads areawide after sundown and could be heavy at times overnight, but no freezing is expected. Temperatures remain just above the freezing mark in the mid-30s. TOMORROW: Rain clears out by the morning commute while much of Tuesday looks drier.

TODAY: Monday is the last of our ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Days, but it may be the most dangerous for travel. As warmer air returns to the region, it will encounter remnant cold air at the surface. Rain returning with this warm air, will freeze at the surface, creating icy conditions through the morning.
