Tracking a warmup into the weekend and a stout cooldown to follow
TODAY: Wednesday will be warmer than Tuesday by a few degrees, with highs reaching near 80 under sunny skies this afternoon. Winds are light, from the south.
TONIGHT: Light south winds persist, but with clear skies, temperatures fall to near 50 overnight.
EXTENDED: A slow warming trend continues through end of week and into the weekend, peaking temperatures near 85 on Saturday afternoon. A cold front rolls through Saturday night into Sunday morning, bringing clouds and a noticeable cool down. Just how noticeable remains to be seen, but it's now looking likely that we will see highs fall into the low 70s Sunday, and into the 60s by Monday. We could be even cooler by Tuesday with a window for frost possibly developing by Tuesday morning, and highs possibly remaining in the 50s that afternoon. Still, pay attention to the forecast before pulling all of those plants inside. There's plenty of uncertainty in temperatures on the other side of that cold front.
