After morning showers exit mid-Missouri, cloud cover will start to diminish, giving us plenty of sunlight, which is why we'll see a UV index of 10. Without the protection of sunscreen that is 50 SPF or higher, it only takes 15-20 minutes to get a sunburn on any skin that is directly exposed.

Since we are staying relatively dry towards the end of the week, pollen levels will be at the medium ranking on average through the weekend.
