Tracking dense fog through Monday afternoon
TONIGHT: Dense develops once again and visibility drops overnight. Temperatures fall into the upper 20s, so bridges and elevated surfaces may become slick in the morning with freezing fog possible.
TOMORROW: Fog through midday, followed by mostly cloudy skies. Highs in the upper 30s.
EXTENDED: We finally lose some of the cloud cover on Tuesday, with a bit more sunshine and temperatures making it to the mid-40s. By Wednesday, our next low pressure system dives in from the northwest, bringing a chance of rain during the day as highs will be in the low to mid-40s. By Wednesday night, we could see a change over from rain to snow into Thursday morning, depending on the track and timing of the system. If it moves slowly with more precipitation overnight, there's a better chance we'll see light accumulation. Once the system moves out on Thursday, we'll be left with a cooler and cloudy end to the week and weekend.
