TODAY: Scattered storms exit by late morning, and clouds steadily clear throughout the day. Highs reach the 60s, while gusty winds pick up in the afternoon between 30 and 40 mph.

TOMORROW: Temperatures reach the low 60s with clouds rolling back in. Winds will again be breezy in the afternoon gusting above 20 mph.

EXTENDED: Storms will bring a quarter to over an inch of needed rain early Sunday. The week ahead remains warm with highs back into the upper 60s on Tuesday, and quiet weather until Thursday. The late-week pattern becomes more active with rounds of showers and storms between Thursday and Sunday, and dry time in between. Temperatures will be very warm by the end of the week, with highs in the 70s Thursday through Saturday. The most likely time frame for widespread rain and thunder will be Saturday into Sunday with 0.5" to 1" of rain possible.
