COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The University of Missouri Police Department sent out an alert Tuesday night about a robbery at a downtown Columbia apartment building.

It's the third robbery reported around the city in as many days.

In a string of tweets, the university police department said officers were called to The Lofts apartments on 308 S. 9th St. just before 11 p.m.

The MU Alerts said two men were seen running south from the building and that no weapon was involved.

MUPD says the robbery is under investigation as of Tuesday night. An all-clear was sent out at 11:48 p.m.

An MU Alert was sent out late Sunday night about a robbery at a gas station near downtown. Police said two men with handguns robbed the ZX gas station near the Providence Road and Locust Street intersection.

Two people reported being assaulted and robbed by six or seven men in the East Campus area Sunday night.

It's unclear if arrests have been made any of the cases.
