COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) The Boone County Clerk wants to use a Mizzou Athletics facility as polling place for the November election. County clerk Brianna Lennon said either Mizzou Arena or the Hearnes Center will serve as a “central” polling location for the county. Any registered county voter could use the site to cast a ballot.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) UPDATE 5:30 P.M.: The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 74,257 cases of COVID-19 Saturday, up from 72,964 on Friday. The department reported 6 new deaths Saturday. There have been 1,425 COVID-related deaths in the state. The 7 day positivity rate was at 11.4. At least 913 people were hospitalized.
