St. Louis man dead after Thursday shooting in parking lot of Lakeview Mall in Boone County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) The Boone County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Friday morning that one person died after a shooting in the parking lot of Lakeview Mall on the eastern edge of Columbia. Sheriff’s Office spokesman Cpt. Brian Leer said the shooting happened Thursday night in the parking lot after a disagreement inside Jake’s Bar and Grill.
