Sedalia officer shoots suspect during chase

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) A Sedalia police officer shot a suspect during a chase Wednesday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol stated in a news release. The suspect suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and was taken to a hospital. The officer was also injured and hospitalized, though the injuries were not life-threatening, the Patrol stated.
