Groundbreaking ceremony marks start of Rocheport to Columbia Improve I-70 Project construction

(KMIZ) The Missouri Department of Transportation held a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday to celebrate the start of construction from Rocheport to Columbia for the next phase of the Improve I-70 Project. Sedalia officer shoots suspect during chase

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) A Sedalia police officer shot a suspect during a chase Wednesday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol stated in a news release. The suspect suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and was taken to a hospital.
