JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Holts Summit teen was sentenced to six years in prsion on Wednesday after pleading guilty to a felony murder charge.

Grant O. Deppe and another teen, Devin Schrimpf, are accused in the 2019 killing of Marquise Conley at a residence on Rolling Hills Drive.

Deppe pleaded guilty to a count each of accessory to second-degree murder and accessory to tampering with physical evidence recently.

Cole County Division II Judge Daniel Green sentenced Deppe to six years in prison for the murder charge and four years for the second charge.

According to online court documents, Deppe will serve the sentences at the same time. Court records said he was also given credit for time served.

Court documents say Schrimpf called the residence multiple times before the killing and said he would "shoot the place up." He faces a count each of first-degree murder and armed criminal action.

Schrimpf is expected to appear in court on Tuesday afternoon for a plea/trial setting, court records say. He entered a not guilty plea on Sept. 3.
