Tracking a foggy Friday morning

TODAY: Friday is starting foggy, with a Dense Fog Advisory for some areas until 10 a.m. Sunny skies are expected, with a high in the low 80s.

TONIGHT: Pleasant and clear conditions are expected tonight. Temperatures fall into the 70s at sunset and into the 60s after midnight.

EXTENDED: A warmer day is expected Saturday, with highs in the upper 80s. A cold front approaches northwest Missouri by the afternoon and will likely trigger storms to our northwest. These storms may arrive by the evening in parts of Mid-Missouri. There is a low risk of strong storms near Kansas City. Storm chances linger on Sunday. Sunshine is forecast Monday alongside a warm-up to near 90 degrees that afternoon. More active weather returns, with rain chances Tuesday through Thursday.
