Multiple Boone County roads closed due to flooding Tuesday

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

With rain setting in all week, officials with the Boone County Joint Communications alerted drivers of flooding in Hallsville Tuesday morning.

Officials reported flooding at the 13600 block of North Frink Road creating a traffic hazard. BCJC is asking residents to use caution when driving and to avoid area if possible.

The agency also reported flooding on Route Z between Old Hwy 124 and Owens School Road. Officials are reminding you to watch out for covered roads and never drive through flooded roadways.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F also sent out reminders to keep safe when driving in rain or dealing with flooding. Officials said to make sure to turn on your headlights when using your windshield wipers.
