Frost likely overnight as temperatures drop

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with diminishing winds. Lows in the low to mid-30s. Patchy frost possible.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny with highs in the low 60s. Clouds increase toward evening.

EXTENDED: A weak disturbance will slide by to our north on Saturday night, exiting the area before sunrise on Sunday, leaving us with a dry and cool Mother's Day. Temperatures from Sunday through Tuesday will stay in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees, with more active weather arriving Tuesday. Thunderstorms become more likely by the end of next week as our pattern gives us more of a southwesterly flow, meaning temperatures and instability will increase over the area. Highs climb back into the 70s by Thursday.
