Tracking storms today and tomorrow

TODAY: Some spotty showers are moving through the northern portions of the viewing area, but most of us will wake up to dry conditions this morning. Unfortunately, drier air does not look like it will be winning out, and we are tracking the possibility for severe thunderstorms near the Lake this morning. A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for our southern counties until 4 pm today. Clouds will remain throughout the day with highs nearing 70 degrees.

TONIGHT: Cloudy conditions persist, but we'll remain dry. Lows will fall to the low 50s.

EXTENDED: To start out the week, we're tracking the possibility for thunderstorms throughout the day and evening on Monday. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a slight severe threat for portions of the viewing area. We're closely keeping an eye on this system, and we'll let you know what you can expect. This system will move out of the area Tuesday morning, and conditions will remain dry until later this week. Temperatures will be cooler than average all week, but still comfortable.
