Tracking a warming weekend with mid-week rain

Tonight: Overnight lows cool near or just below freezing tonight as winds remain out of the northwest at 5-10 mph. Skies look to clear throughout the overnight hours becoming mostly clear.

Tomorrow: Skies look to become partly cloudy as winds switch out of the west starting the upcoming warming trend with highs reaching into the upper 50s.

Extended: Sunday sees a dramatic increase in temperatures as highs approach the mid-60s. Skies look to become mostly sunny with strong gusts of wind nearing 40 mph out of the southwest. The warming trend peaks into Monday with highs reaching near 70 degrees Monday and mostly sunny skies. Tuesday afternoon sees a cool down with highs nearing 50 degrees and afternoon/ overnight showers rolling in. These showers will remain throughout much of Central Missouri into Wednesday and Thursday with the possibility of a little snow mixing in by Thursday night/ Friday morning.
