Tracking a clear night for viewing northern lights, warm end to the week
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and chilly with lows in the upper 30s.
TOMORROW: Partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the mid-upper 60s.
EXTENDED: I'm tracking a mostly clear night, great for viewing the northern lights again, especially away from city lights. Nate will have the full forecast in his insider tonight, but we should be in luck shortly after sunset through about 9:00 or so. Tomorrow is looking cloudier, but mild again with highs in the mid-60s. We'll end the week on a warm note with temperatures reaching the low to mid-70s with sunshine on Saturday. A weak front moves in, bringing some clouds Saturday, but we look pleasant for the Mizzou game with temperatures in the 60s at kickoff. Sunday is now looking completely dry with a cool down into the lower 60s. Low pressure moves in off the Plains, bringing a chance for rain and rumbles on Monday. Next week looks cooler with rain chances returning again by Wednesday as Monday/Tuesday's front stalls out across southern Missouri.Â
