Tracking scattered storms lasting throughout the first half of the week

Today: Scattered showers and storms remain across much of Mid-Missouri throughout the day with the possibility of flash flooding and gusty winds being the main threat. A few strong to severe storms remain possible with an addition of hail up to 1" possible. Afternoon highs climb into the early 80s.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the upper 60s with chances of late overnight scattered storms once again after 9 PM. Gusty winds and brief heavy downpours remain the main impacts for this system.

Extended: Wednesday sees scattered showers and storms once with chances of scattered storms possible both Thursday and Friday. Highs rise to the upper 80s and lower 90s beginning Thursday through Saturday before a frontal passage into Sunday cools temperatures into the mid-80s.
