Tracking a warmer weekend ahead

Today: Afternoon highs warm into the upper 40s nearing 50 degrees. Skies remain mostly sunny with winds out of the west at 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the lower teens as a dry cold front moves into the region. Overnight skies remain partly cloudy.

Extended: This weekend sees a steep warming trend with highs into the upper 50s eventually reaching the lower 60s by Monday. Overnight scattered showers move into the region Monday night as highs cool slightly to the lower 50s.
