Tracking drying conditions and sunshine early this week

TODAY: Mostly cloudy to start with light snow possible across far eastern Missouri. Clouds break apart through the afternoon with temperatures topping out in the low 40s.

TOMORROW: More sunshine and southerly winds aid temperatures in reaching the 50s Monday afternoon. Winds could be gusty at times with speeds up to 20 mph.

EXTENDED: Conditions recover nicely after the latest round of wintry weather as we're looking at a brief warmup into the low 50s Monday through Wednesday. By Thursday low pressure will approach the area and bring a round of rain with temperatures continuing to trend above freezing. We do lose degrees behind this system though, likely falling back to seasonal conditions next weekend.
