Tracking early week showers and thunderstorms

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to nearly 30 degrees with patchy fog and mostly cloudy skies. Winds remain out of the east at 4-8 mph.

Tomorrow: Monday remains mostly dry, with more breaks in the clouds. This helps highs reach near 50, and temperatures won't fall much into the overnight hours as a low pressure system approaches.

EXTENDED: Temperatures top out in the mid-50s Tuesday with widespread showers and a few rumbles of thunder possible throughout the day. Rain exits early Wednesday morning, leaving us cooler and partly cloudy. Northerly winds will keep temperatures in the low 40s Thursday, and 30s by the weekend.
