Tracking dry conditions early this week, more rain on Tuesday

TODAY: Clouds linger through the day, though a peek at sunshine is possible. This will keep temperatures in the 40s this afternoon as we dry out.

TOMORROW: Monday remains mostly dry, with more breaks in the clouds. This helps highs reach near 50, and temperatures won't fall much into the overnight hours as a low pressure system approaches.

EXTENDED: Temperatures top out in the mid-50s Tuesday with widespread showers and a few rumbles of thunder possible throughout the day. Rain exits early Wednesday morning, leaving us cooler and partly cloudy. Wrap-around precip from this system is possible to the north late week though chances remain overall low. Northerly winds will keep temperatures in the low 40s Thursday, and 30s by the weekend.
